On Friday 13th March we treated you to the BIRSt Giving Exchange: a show that featured many exciting things indeed!
The BIRSt team attempted to do some live imaging, with our very own Tom Harrison bringing his Micro Korg into the studio. We also took part in a Red Nose Day inspired feature in which we attempted to change our faces!
We also heard from BBC Radio 1 Programme Manager Rhys Hughes, who kindly gave us his time and joined the Managers of BIRSt and NERVE* for a tête-à-tête about managing stations.
Alumni Tom Gerken – Station Manager 2013 returned to Studio 1 to play the 50 worst video games ever made all in the name of Comic Relief for 27 hours….that’s a lot of button pressing in a good cause!
Plus we enjoyed a taster of the new music playlist at BIRSt and a tribute to the wonderful contribution that Terry Pratchett made to Radio and writing.
