Kieren Thomson didn’t have much common sense as a child. You could argue that our Street Knowledge/Friday Meltdown presenter doesn’t have a huge amount now.
However he used to get into several embarrassing situations as a child. Two of these can be heard here in To Be A Child. Firstly, Kieren tels the story of his Christening, and an unfortunate situation with some lit candles. He also tells of the time he took on some badly-worded advice on a swimming trip with his family.
It’s alright being a child, just sometimes you end up with embarrassing stories which can be told 20 years on.
After all, he was a sweet child. Look at him with all his golf.
