When I sit at a bus stop in the rain, I follow the water as it drops at varying speeds from the shelter, and in my mind (and sometimes out loud) I vocalise the sound of the drops. Individually they fall, but together they create a cascade of sound. So in this short piece I have experimented with the layering of human voices in over 80 tracks to recreate the sound of my memory of the rain. From a small drip comes a down pour that settles back into that 1st sweet drop.
