Inspired by Alan Partridge and the lyrics to Cliff Richard’s ‘Wired for Sound’, Kate decided after stints in community and student radio that there might just be a job in there somewhere. When her three year English degree at Sheffield Hallam University came to a close, it seemed the only sensible option to travel back south, set up camp and make some radio. Kate likes independent cinema; good books; her Fender Telecaster; and of course music of the loud, alternative variety.
