In the fourth and Final of our BIRSt Exchanges, we celebrate radio drama at Bournemouth University. With a piece specially commissioned for the Exchange, we have a tale of saints and singing in Alberto Olivieri’s “Let Me Die Again”, produced and mixed by Oliver Morris. We also have a piece from the BIRSt Archive that entangles correspondence with the strange poetry of “The Shipping Forecast” by Clare Evans, and a series of sketches from this year’s BIRSt Cohort, as they interview famous animal mascots
We also look to the future of Radio at BU, including an adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe’s short story “The Fall of the House of Usher”, and 3rd year radio student Jude Hodgeson-Hann’s drama about ‘Leo’s Last Stop Diner”
It has been a pleasure presenting the BIRSt exchanges, and watch this space for more live programming, dramas and everything in between.
