Rudy discovered radio while working as an English Teacher in Luxembourg. Grateful to discover a career where good spelling wasn’t essential, he stumbled through the doors of Radio ARA. Radio ARA, a multilingual music and speech-based station, promptly pushed him towards their English language magazine programme, “Sunday Around”, where he became co-presenter and producer.
He gained notoriety for interviewing the novelist Ken Follett and asking him when he last punched somebody. He also produced a French language music programme for Radio ARA, but mercifully kept his mouth closed for the duration.
He is interested in music and sport and firmly believes that Tranmere Rovers should have won the Worthington Cup.
