Not too long ago, Jaspar made a drama about an A.I. slowly becoming sentient and starting to ask questions that we might not be able to answer. Over the past week Microsoft released a twitter ‘chatbot’ named Tay into the wild. Tay was designed to reply as if it was a real teenage girl to any tweets sent to it – and to learn from those tweets. As you can imagine…things didn’t go well. Jaspar, with a little help, talks about the A.I. in this short piece and asks, is it really the machines we should be afraid of?
