BIRSt radio presents the very first episode of Woman’s Half Hour – A platform made and utilised by the ladies of BIRSt radio to highlight and tackle relevant issues facing young female students today. A mixture of light hearted banter and more serious discussion about anything from gay marriage, to the politics of dating to interviewing female footballers.
In this first episode we establish our feature – ‘Campus Conscious’ and get out onto Bournemouth Univeristy Campus to ask students who they find inspirational. We talk to some female members of the Southampton University Officer Training Corps, and in the very first edition of ‘How Rude!’ we chat about some of the things which really get on our nerves; including bad gym etiquette and the current fashion of wearing extremely short shorts!!!
