Back in October 2015, BIRSt hosted a very special sound gallery in Bournemouth’s Lower Gardens, as part of the Bournemouth Emerging Arts Fringe Festival.
A feature especially created for the festival, A Sense of Place in Bournemouth discovers what it is like to be a member of Bournemouth’s community. Kieren Thomson and Olivia Beazley spoke to a number of people about their involvement in the town, as well as what it feels like to become a recent occupant. This is coupled with readings from the Bournemouth Song Book, written by Cumberland Clark and published in 1929.
Produced by: Kieren Thomson and Olivia Beazley
Readings from: Caitlin Alston, Jack Phillips, Claire Umney and Jordan Wildon
