March 24th 2000 marked the twentieth anniversary of the assassination of Archbishop Romero of El Salvador. He was a great defender of Human Rights and his name spread beyond his native country. He was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979. The programme features interviews with three people who knew him; Maria-Julia Hernandez, Julian Filochowski and Peter Bottomley MP
